Mortar Repair at Everton Park, Queensland

The Problem:

The mortar had deteriorated, was very sandy and mostly missing in some areas. We believe when built that the mortar did not have enough cement in the mix.

The Solution:

Remove any loose mortar, thoroughly clean the affected area and repoint with 4:1 mix of sand and cement with coloured oxides to match existing.
